Ellie: I finished the grief series on the 4th November 2023…except…of course I didn’t. People told me they had got tattoos inspired by the project and bereaved friends needed Crossing boxes in a tough time.

Whilst I won’t be making new work about grief, the response to All That Lives was so overwhelming and we’ve been fielding requests left, right and centre about Grief Series projects, going out on the road to reach audiences.

The following projects are available for touring

  • Part 3: Photography installation What is Left

  • Part 5: Illustrated Funeral Planning resource The Crossing can be bought and sent by post or run as a facilitated session at your theatre, community space, or home

  • Part 6: Our museum in a caravan Journey With Absent Friends is available to tour

  • Part 7: Ofrendas installations and workshops are available for groups from Pride activities, Faith communities, Universities and Schools.

The projects will continue to live, just as the memory of my mum, my brother, my father continue to shape my life and decisions day to day. My mothers memory reminds me to always look up when you go somewhere new and my brothers to add gherkins to a bacon sandwich. If you are a university, programmer, festival or event, and want one of our projects or more of a ‘Grief tapas’ approach, do get in touch at producer@politerebellion.co.uk
