Hayley is a Yorkshire based textile artist specialising in embroidery. Using fabric and thread, Hayley creates textile drawings and objects that tell stories. These stories often have an autobiographical theme, exploring mental health and personal memories. Hayley works with a range of traditional textile techniques like hand embroidery, appliqué and English Patchwork, combining them with the digitally embroidered drawings and text-based works. She brings her 40+ years of embroidery experience to the project, producing a range of artworks and accessories.
